چکیده

Background High-dose dobutamine-stress magnetic resonance (DSMR) and late gadolinium enhanced cardiac magnetic resonance (LGE-CMR) imaging are well established for the detection of significant cardiovascular disease (CAD) and infarction for cylindrical 1.5 T or 3T. Due to the narrow bore, patients (pts) with obesity or claustrophobia usually cannot be studied with conventional MRI scanners. 1.0T high field open (HFO) is a non-cylindrical MRI system offering significantly more space but has only rarely been utilized for diagnostic cardiac MRI so far. In this pilot study we sought to investigate the performance of 1.0T HFO DSMR and LGE-CMR in pts with suspected CAD and low to intermediate risk profile.

Coronary Artery Spasm During Dobutamine Stress Echocardiography: A Case Report

Dobutamine stress echocardiography (DSE) has been widely used as a diagnostic and prognostic modality in the management of stress. DSE is associated with limited complications and adverse effects on the health of patients. In this case report, we described a 42-year-old female patient with dobutamine-induced coronary artery spasm with history of exertional dyspnea, which had deteriorated recent...

Feasibility, safety and tolerability of accelerated dobutamine stress echocardiography

A continuous infusion of a single high dose of dobutamine has been, recently, suggested as a simple and effective protocol of stress echocardiography. The present study assesses the feasibility, safety, and tolerability of an accelerated dobutamine stress protocol performed in patients with suspected or known coronary artery disease. Two hundred sixty five consecutive patients underwent acceler...

Magnetic resonance stress tagging in ischemic heart disease.

High-dose dobutamine magnetic resonance stress testing has been shown to be superior to dobutamine stress echocardiography for diagnosis of coronary artery disease (CAD). We determined the feasibility of quantitative myocardial tagging during low- and high-dose dobutamine stress and tested the ability of global systolic and diastolic quantitative parameters to identify patients with significant...

Poster Abstracts: Clinical MRI—Ischemic Heart Disease 201. Diagnostic Value of Low Dose Dobutamine Stress in Addition to the Assessment of Late Enhancement for the Prediction of Functional Recovery

Introduction: “Late enhancement” (LEH) techniques have been shown to yield a high value for the prediction of functional recovery of hibernating myocardium (HM). Stress imaging with low dose dobutamine by echocardiography (DSE) or magnetic resonance imaging (DSMR) has been successfully used in clinical routine to predict HM for years. Purpose: The scope of this study was to determine the diagno...

Magnetic Resonance Imaging During Dobutamine Stress for Detection

Background Quantitative measurement of wall motion is essential to assess objectively the functional significance of coronary artery disease. We developed a quantitative wall thickening analysis on stress magnetic resonance images. This study was designed to assess the clinical value of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) during dobutamine stress for detection and localization of myocardial ischem...
